Canon DSLR lenses come in all shapes, sizes, and price ranges, and this particular lens is very much at the top end of that. Generally, when you think of having a camera cleaned, the first thing that springs to mind is getting your sensor cleaned, which is a very common, and necessary job we do here. Unfortunately, this particular lens was in need of something a little more andvanced than that, as mould and moisture could been seen through many layers on the lens, causing a serious blur on every image taken with it.

One of our engineers disassembled and cleaned each layer of the lens to get it back working as good as always, and tested it vigorously to ensure no image quality was lost. The repair was carried out in our lab, and took our engineers almost 72 hours to perform, allowing a snap happy customer avoid the €2000 cost of a replacement.
