This particular damaged iPhone 6 (of which we’ve seen many), took a little tumble to the floor and cracked the screen. Now, when the iPhone 6 was announced, it was rumoured to be arriving with Sapphire Glass, which apparently is tougher than, well, regular glass. After much deliberation, Apple decided to instead ship the iPhone 6 with Corning’s latest Gorilla Glass, which is supposed to be stronger, and more scratch resistant than anything on the market.

To be honest, it might very well be the strongest glass available for the iPhone, but the issue with cracked iPhone screens continues, because although they made it stronger, they also made the frame of the phone thinner, and the screen larger. Which brings us back to this customer from Kerry, who marks the 50th iPhone 6 screen we’ve replaced.

Thankfully, an iPhone 6 screen replacement can be done in a couple of hours by one of our engineers, with a full 6 month warranty.
