The iPod Classic, one of Apple’s longest standing devices, was originally released in 2007, and was officially discontinued from their product line in September 2014. Apple now don’t produce any device with the iconic ‘control wheel clicker‘ that made their iPod range so distinctive when they were first released.

This particular damaged iPod Classic was brought to our repair centre because of a problem with the headphone jack, causing it to not work with any headphones. The customer informed us that t was an engraved present from a family member, and it had some sentimental value, so getting the device up and running was priority number one. We were glad when we opened it, as the only issue with the broken iPod Classic was the headphone jack malfunction, and although there was some wear on the battery, it still worked away no problem at all.

Our very relieved customer was more than happy to leave the device with us for a couple of hours, to come back to the device as good as new, with a 6 month warranty.
