The iPod Nano is a great device, and ideal for any runners or gym goers. It’s size, and the handy wrist strap pictured here make it perfect for someone who wants to listen to music, but need something discreet to carry. Unfortunately, because they are mostly used for this reason, they tend to be exposed to the elements a little more than most devices. Apple are not fans of creating water resistant devices, probably because they would have to make some compromises on the designs of their devices, which they don’t like doing.

This iPod Nano was dropped in by a customer as it got wet while he was running, and now doesn’t power on. One of our engineers was able to perform a full water damage clean out to get the device back up and running in a couple of ours, with a 6 month warranty.
