I don’t want to offend anyone, but over the past 4 or 5 years that we’ve been in business, the most ridiculous stories of how phones, laptops and cameras got broken have all come from students. We’ve heard them all, gym weights dropped on iPhones, Galaxy S4s falling out of car windows, laptops that fell down the stairs, and the really common story; I woke up this morning (generally after Thursday nights) and it just looked like this.

Thankfully, iElectron (us) are now in partnership with UCC students Union for all your electronic repair needs. We work on the smashed phones, liquid damaged laptops, and those Xboxs and Playstations that didn’t survive a 7 hour Fifa marathon.

Barry Nevin, Student’s Union VP for communications, approached us a few months back, and asked us if we would be interested in working with the Students Union for electronic repairs (we knew him from a day we spent giving away free wristband flash drives during Fresher’s Week). Of course, we were, and are, more than delighted to offer our services to students with a 10% discount.
